On November 6,2025, CICCPS successfully held a cooperation conference with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba in Beijing. Representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening collaboration in trade, investment, law, logistics, energy, and other fields.

The meeting was attended and chaired by Li Bingshu, while notable attendees included H.E. Alberto J. Blanco Silva the Ambassador of Cuban Embassy, Mr. Antonio Carricarte Corona, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba. This conference reached broad consensus on advancing practical cooperation and implementing bilateral agreements. Yan Gaoming the Vice President of CICCPS and Chairman of Beijing ZXJOY Investment, Huang Jinhui the Chief Supervisor of CICCPS and Chairman of the Board of Reanda International Network, and Wang Zhenlei the Council Member Wang of CICCPS and Chairman of Beijing Rosa International Trading also attended the Cooperation Conference.

In his opening address, Secretary-General Li Bingshu extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests from the Caribbean, highlighting the long-standing friendship between China and Cuba. He noted that in recent years, CICCPS has actively responded to the national “Belt and Road Initiative”, systematically promoting cooperation with Cuba since 2023. This included establishing a dedicated working group, creating regular communication channels, proposing innovative models like "debt-to-equity swaps," and organizing enterprise delegations for on-site inspections in Cuba, which facilitated the implementation of several projects.

Li Bingshu emphasized that the CICCPS-Cuba cooperation has now progressed from "sowing the seeds of friendship" to "bearing fruit," with continuous deepening of collaboration in food, energy, ports, legal services, and other sectors. The relationship has evolved from "partners" to "close friends" and "family." CICCPS pledged to continue serving as a bridge and platform, ensuring that the seeds of cooperation grow strong and yield abundant results.
