On October 16, 2025, Li Bingshu the Secretary General of CICCPS and representatives from member enterprises, visited the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in China and were warmly received by H.E. Khamis Mussa Omar the Ambassador of Tanzanian Embassy.
Li Bingshu and H.E. Khamis Mussa Omar the Ambassador held in-depth discussions on key areas including deepening cooperation in mining and agriculture, preparing for a Tanzania-focused session of the "China-Foreign Ambassador Entrepreneurs Dialogue," and promoting Chinese investment in Tanzania, reaching corresponding consensus.
Li Bingshu expressed gratitude for the meeting and introduced CICCPS's development profile and signature activities. He stated that CICCPS had had over 500 member enterprises operating across key sectors such as new energy, equipment manufacturing, textiles and apparel, mining, and cross-border e-commerce. Its core mission is to provide services and support for Chinese private enterprises in international cooperation. Through successfully hosting multiple "China-Foreign Entrepreneurs Ambassador Dialogue" events, it had built efficient platforms for business matching. He expressed hope that this visit would establish a communication mechanism to jointly promote deeper cooperation between Chinese and Tanzanian enterprises.
Khamis Mussa Omar the Ambassador acknowledged CICCPS's bridging role in facilitating the global expansion of private enterprises and promoting international economic and trade cooperation. He clearly identified Tanzania's potential for collaboration across multiple sectors, with core focus areas being mining, agriculture, and industrial park development. He expressed anticipation for Chinese companies to participate in local industrial chain development and welcomed joint ventures or partnerships between Chinese and Tanzanian enterprises based on their respective strengths and needs. The Ambassador looked forward to engaging with more Chinese private enterprises through CICCPS, pledged strong support for the chamber's cooperation initiatives regarding Tanzania, and committed to jointly transforming cooperative intentions into tangible outcomes.
