On October 23, 2024, Li Bingshu led CICCPS members visited Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee the UN Resident Coordinator in China. Li Bingshu and Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee held in-depth exchanges on international cooperation and sustainable development.
Li Bingshu first expressed gratitude to Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee for his attendance and insightful speech at the CICCPS Mid-Autumn Festival Reception held in Beijing on September 14. He stated that Mr. Chatterjee's presence signified the United Nations' support for Chinese private enterprises and its recognition of their contributions to global economic development. Li Bingshu expressed the CICCPS's hope to jointly encourage entrepreneurs to actively participate in UN aid projects, centralized procurement initiatives, and events hosted by UN agencies in China.
Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee noted that under the background of global sustainable development, Chinese enterprises are actively exploring paths for transformation and upgrading. He suggested that Chinese companies should closely follow global sustainable development trends, strengthen health and environmental awareness, actively participate in relevant international cooperation activities, and jointly address global challenges such as climate change to achieve long-term corporate development and societal sustainability goals.
