During the 2024 China-Europe Industrial Investment and Cooperation Promotion Forum, Mr. Zheng Yongqiang, Vice President of CICCPS and Director of Guangdong China-Europe Enterprise Cooperation Promotion Center, along with Li Bingshu the Secretary General of CICCPS, met a delegation led by Dr. Michael Hohl, Chairman of the China-Europe Science and Technology Cooperation Association, at Guangdong China-Europe Enterprise Cooperation Promotion Center. Li Bingshu and Zheng held Dr. Michael Hohl had friendly talks, established a strategic partnership, and signed a cooperation agreement.
Vice President Zheng Yongqiang introduced the background and work which was related to Guangdong China-Europe Enterprise Cooperation Promotion Center's cooperation with Europe. He stated that German technology companies actively engaged in international collaboration and have established extensive cooperative relationships with China in economic, trade, and high-tech sectors. He expressed sincere gratitude to all parties involved in facilitating this cooperation and stated that the agreement not only affirmed the past achievements of friendly exchanges facilitated by the Guangdong Center but also marked the beginning of a new chapter in China-Europe sci-tech collaboration.
Chairman Dr. Michael Hohl expressed his sincere appreciation to CICCPS and Guangdong China-Europe Enterprise Cooperation Promotion Center for their warm reception during his delegation's visit to China. He recognized that China's rich scientific research resources and vast market potential, which highlighted the remarkable vitality and creativity of its burgeoning private economy. Dr. Hohl stated that the Association would build a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with CICCPS, further promoted exchanges and interactions between Chinese and European business communities, deepened mutual understanding, and provided quality services for collaboration between enterprises. He expressed strong anticipation for the future cooperation between the two organizations.
