On June 20, 2024, the "2024 China-Europe Industrial Investment and Cooperation Promotion Forum," as part of the Guangzhou Development District's "Global Investment Promotion Year" series, was grandly held in Huangpu District in Guangzhou.

The first session brought together over 200 participants, including enterprise representatives from Germany, France, and Italy, as well as Chinese companies and industry experts from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Foshan. They were here to discuss a shared future of "Cooperation, Innovation, and Win-Win" for China-Europe industries. The second session of the Forum featured specialized sessions including the "China-Europe Smart IoT Industry Cooperation Sub-Forum" and the "China-Europe Railway Express Freight Logistics Business Exchange Salon," which attracted over 300 association and corporate representatives from the smart IoT sector to explore new cooperation opportunities.

The forum was attended by distinguished guests including Xu Bing, Deputy Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce in Guangzhou; Huang Xin, Second-Level Inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce; Guan Xiangming, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Shao Jingbo, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Development District Administrative Committee; along with officials from Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau in Guangzhou Development District and the German city of Bayreuth.

More than that, business association leaders such as Mr. Klaus Zenkel the Vice President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and Chairman of its South China Chapter; Dr. Michael Hohl the Chairman of the China-Europe Association for Science and Technology Cooperation, and Li Bingshu the Secretary General of CICCPS also attended 2024 China-Europe Industrial Investment and Cooperation Promotion Forum.
