On April 2, 2024, Li Bingshu the Secretary General of CICCPS and CICCPS members visited the Embassy of Russia in China. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. EFIMOV, the Deputy Trade Representative of Russian Embassy in China.
CICCPS members and Mr. EFIMOV held an in-depth discussion on China-Russia investment, trade, and potential areas for cooperation. Mr. EFIMOV extended a warm welcome and introduced current investment environment in Russia. He highlighted that advantages in Russia were not only in the energy sector but also in technology and manufacturing. Mr. EFIMOV expressed hope for precise supply-demand matching to deepen collaboration among enterprises of both countries.
Li Bingshu expressed gratitude for the reception and briefly introduced the overview and functions of CICCPS. He stated that the purpose of this visiting was to help CICCPS member enterprises better understand investment opportunities in Russia, particularly in mineral resources, energy, and commodity trade. He also introduced CICCPS's signature programs, including the "CICCPS Commercial Oversea Inspections" and the "China-Foreign Ambassador-Entrepreneur Dialogue," expressing hope for future support from the Russian Embassy in organizing business delegations to Russia and hosting a "Dialogue" event focused on Russia. He emphasized the enthusiasm to strengthen ties with the embassy's trade office to foster mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation.
