On March 12, 2024, a delegation led by Cui Dandan the Secretary General of BRI International Green Development Coalition visited CICCPS for an exchange meeting.
Li Bingshu the Secretary General of CICCPS Party welcomed them and stated that as CICCPS under the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), has adhered to the working principle of "guiding development through Party Construction" since its 2022 leadership transition. The "Two Principles on Health" theme leveraged its strengths in "united front work, economic service, and nongovernmental nature" to actively serve and facilitate the high-quality development of the private sector through platform-based services. He emphasized that private enterprises were increasingly enhancing their green development awareness and gradually became the main force in green technology innovation. Supporting their green transition was a key task forCICCPS. He expressed hope to establish working contacts with BRI International Green Development Coalition in serving the green and low-carbon development of private enterprises, building green standards, mutually supporting activities, aiming to pool their respective advantages and providing more support for private enterprises participating in the green BRI international cooperation.
Cui Dandan expressed her pleasure in visiting CICCPS and introduced BRI Green Development Coalition’s background, structure, and focus areas, as well as its work in policy dialogue, research, and capacity building. She highlighted events like the Belt and Road Green Innovation Conference and the Belt and Road Green Development Roundtable. Through dialogue, joint research, and initiatives like the "Green Silk Road Journey" documentary project, the Coalition promoted international consensus and action on green development and provided technical support for BRI-related green policy formulation. She noted the natural foundation for cooperation between the CICCPS and the Coalition and expressed hope for further collaboration in areas such as green investment and financing, and energy innovation under the BRI framework.
