On March 8, 2024, Li Bingshu the Secretary General led a delegation of CICCPS member enterprises on a visit to the Embassy of Zimbabwe in China, where they were warmly received by H.E. Martin Chedondo, Ambassador of Zimbabwean Embassy.

The discussions focused on Zimbabwean investment environment and opportunities for cooperation. Li Bingshu expressed gratitude for the reception and acknowledged the strong support from Zimbabwean Embassy to “China-Foreign Entrepreneurs Ambassador Dialogue- Welcome to Zimbabwe” held by CICCPS in May 2023. He also outlined the chamber's work related to the Belt and Road Initiative and highlighted the potential for non-governmental investment cooperation under new frameworks.

H.E. Martin Chedondo the Ambassador extended a warm welcome to the delegation and commended CICCPS for its role in facilitating platforms for Chinese enterprises to expand globally. He detailed Zimbabwean favorable investment policies, environment, and significant development potential. The Ambassador told that over 4,000 Chinese companies are currently operating in Zimbabwe, with more than 20,000 Chinese nationals residing there, underscoring the robust cooperative relationship between the two countries. He warmly encouraged CICCPS member enterprises to invest in Zimbabwe and looked forward to strengthened ties between the chamber and the embassy to further enhance mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation.
