On January 10, 2024, the CICCPS Lecture Hall was successfully held. This training event was about enterprises expecting to participate in UN public procurement and achieve green and low-carbon development goals. Bingshu Li, Secretary General of CICCPS, attended the workshop and delivered a speech. Yong He, Deputy Secretary General and Director of  Membership Department of CICCPS hosted the training event.

The training course was hosted by CICCPS and co-sponsored by Tianjin China Investment Development Corp. Ltd. and Beijing Zhongchuang Green Development Technology Co., Ltd. They aimed to help enterprises participate in UN public procurement and achieve green and low-carbon development. CICCPS invited Yan Chen, Director of the International Public Procurement Committee of Tianjin Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and Xiaoguang Chi, Vice President and Secretary General of Beijing Ecological Design and Green Manufacturing Promotion Association, for sharing and explaining their analyses.

CICCPS will then continue to exert its organizational advantages of connecting government and enterprises, integrating internal and external resources, and balancing supply and demand to innovate cooperation models with international organizations such as the United Nations Procurement Division, help enterprises understand the United Nations sustainable procurement concept, familiarize the United Nations equipment and material procurement process, relevant standards, and certification qualifications. Thus, CICCPS will effectively assist enterprises through bidding to undertake United Nations procurement projects, promote high-quality Chinese goods and services come onto the United Nations procurement catalog. CICCPS aims to improve capabilities of green and sustainable development of Chinese enterprises, and assist the private sectors in achieving healthy and high-quality development by participating in UN procurement at a higher level.
