
On August 29th, Yifang Huang the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Language and Culture University, and his delegation visited CICCPS for a discussion exchange about cooperation between BLCU and CICCPS and ideas on employment rates promoted by private enterprises cooperated with universities. Bingshu Li, standing deputy secretary of the party committee and secretary general of CICCPS, warmly welcomed BLCU members and held the meeting.
Bingshu Li the Secretary General of CICCPS welcomed the Vice President Yifang Huang and his delegation. He introduced the establishment background, service range, membership composition, and development of the CICCPS. He stated that CICCPS focused on serving private enterprises go global and cooperated multiple professional platforms such as legal system, financing, and accounting for making a consensus with all parties to create an international development platform for Chinese private enterprises. The development of the CICCPS went well with the strong support of various sectors of society. CICCPS hoped to work with BLCU for engaging in collaborative investigation, maximizing advantages of enterprise resources and multilingual education, promoting deeper multilateral cooperation for private enterprises hoping to be globalized, providing support for private enterprises to better carry out economic, trade and cultural exchanges, and promoting employment in the activity of "Hundreds of Cities and Ten Thousand Enterprises" held by private enterprises and universities.
Vice President Yifang Huang introduced the history, faculties, and development plan of BLCU, especially the advantages in the fields of International Chinese education, international student training, continent and regional research and cross-border cultural exchange. He said that BLCU was an important window for Chinese and foreign languages education and cultural exchanges. CICCPS was a non-governmental organization specializing in serving private enterprises go global. CICCPS and BLCU had a natural basis for cooperation in serving enterprises hoping to have international cooperations and exchanges. There was wide collaboration workspace on international talents cultivation, foreign language training, multilingual translation, and cross-cultural studies between CICCPS and BLCU in the future. CICCPS hoped to establish a cooperative mechanism in order to achieve resource sharing and mutually beneficial development with BLCU
At the meeting, both sides also had an open communication on topics such as cultivating targeted talents, promoting private enterprises to enter the campus, holding private enterprise lectures, interning for international students, and civil exchange among countries, as well as overseas Confucius Institutes. Both sides expressed good cooperation willingness and unanimously agreed to establish contacts, sorted out their respective needs, strengthened information exchange, and expanded long-term, sustainable, and effective cooperation in a mechanistic manner.
Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) was a national key university, directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the only university named “language” in China. For more than 60 years since its establishment, it has been committed to promoting the mutual interpretation of Chinese and foreign humanities and the mutual learning of multiple civilizations. On the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, CICCPS and BLCU carried out the exchange discussion, which was conducive to the mutual sharing of resources, complementary advantages, and creation of new patterns of cultural communication with other countries. This exchange discussion enhanced the understanding of both sides and laid a good foundation for further cooperation. CICCPS would take this exchange as an opportunity to actively promote the international linkage of schools and enterprises, established a long-term mechanism for targeting talent training for private enterprises and more opportunities on cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and made contributions to high-quality globalization of private enterprises and the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
