The Brazilian Delegation of the Innovate Global Alliance Visited CICCPS
 


Civilian forces’ external communication and cooperation are an important force in promoting the “Belt and Road Initiative”. With unique organizational advantages and flexibility, it has gained more and more recognition and space in promoting international economic and trade cooperation.


On August 14, 2023, the Brazilian delegation of the IG Alliance visited our Chamber of Commerce to exchange. The executive president of CICCPS, Mei Xiangrong, founding partner, director, and global director of the board of Yingke Law Firm, secretary-general of CICCPS Li Bingshu, president unite of CICCPS, HOdo Group and some members participated in the reception and discussion.


Secretary-General Li Bingshu welcomed the Brazilian delegation on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce. He said that in recent years, China-Brazil economic and trade relations have continued to deepen. The two countries’ economies are highly complementary, and the cooperation in emerging fields and cultural exchanges has deepened. Economic and trade cooperation has maintained a long-term good development trend with huge cooperation potential and broad prospects. He introduced the basic situation of CICCPS to Brazilian guests and hoped that through today’s communication between Chinese and Brazilian companies, civilian forces could promote China-Brazil economic and trade relations to advance together and create more win-win results. He hoped that the IG could share innovative elements with CICCPS and provide more opportunities for Chinese private enterprises to seize more development opportunities in innovative industries.


Executive president Mei Xiangrong introduced the business development of Yingke Law Firm at the meeting. He said that Yingke global legal service network had covered 94 countries and 163 international cities, including 16 countries direct branches and had developed into the world’s largest law firm. It has served over 1.9 million clients in China, including 900,000 corporate clients. He looked forward to Yingke’s Brazil office connecting Chinese and Brazilian entrepreneurs well and creating a mutually beneficial business model. He hoped to play Yingke’s value and platform role in intellectual property, corporate investment and financing, corporate governance, government resource docking, enterprise digitization and etc., to promote better development of China-Brazil economic and trade cooperation.


Ms. Tang Yaqi, Executive Secretary of the Innovate Global, expressed her heartfelt thanks for the Chamber’s support for this event. She introduced that the IG was established in the UK in 2014 as a global platform for cooperation and exchange in science and technology innovation fields. It links innovative markets in 64 countries and regions worldwide and supports over 3,000 innovative enterprises globally. She said that this visit focused on IG innovation ecology and leading China-Brazil industrial transformation. She hoped to work with CICCPS and Brazilian partners to jointly create cooperation and prosperity in science, technology, and economy between China-Brazil and the world.
