On July 18th 2023, CCPIT(CCOIC) Training Center, China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS) and our Executive Chairman Yingke Law Firm jointly hosted Economic and Trade Cooperation and Legal Services Exchange Conference between China and “Belt and Road” Countries in Beijing. Representatives from 46 government departments, chambers of commerce and enterprises from 12 countries along the “Belt and Road”, including Brazil, Ethiopia, North Macedonia, Sri Lanka, etc., as well as representatives from CCPIT(CCOIC) Training Center, CICCPS, and Yingke Law Firm attended the conference.

Secretary-General Li Bingshu expressed his welcome and greetings to the participating representatives. He introduced the basic situation of CICCPS, including its founding purpose, main achievements, and development vision. He said that in the past decade, “Belt and Road” has developed from a Chinese initiative into an international consensus and from a Chinese plan into a global joint action. It is a vivid embodiment of developing countries’ mutual cooperation, modernization and joint future. As an important force in promoting the construction of the “Belt and Road”, the Chambers of Commerce have unique advantages in serving the construction of the “Belt and Road” and promoting international cooperation. Established in 2011, the CICCPS takes “serving private enterprises going global” as its purpose and carries out activities to promote economic and trade cooperation between Chinese private enterprises and countries around the world. We has absorbed more than 500 of Chinese best private enterprises that have gone global, and its service functions radiate more than 100,000 private enterprises under the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. In future, CICCPS will work with CCPIT, Yingke Law Firm and various parties along the “Belt and Road” to further strengthen contacts with foreign business associations and industrial and commercial organizations along the line, build more extensive cooperation mechanisms, innovate more diversified exchange platforms, and jointly promote high-quality construction of the “Belt and Road” under legal protection.

Executive Chairman Mei Xiangrong gave a detailed introduction to Yingke Law Firm and its overall international layout. He mentioned that Yingke Law Firm was established in 2001 and has 111 law firms in China, providing legal services to more than 1.9 million clients over the past 20 years. Yingke Law Firm’s service tenet is “providing opportunities, promoting transactions, creating value, and solving problems”. In the future, Yingke Law Firm will focus on internationalization and build a bridge for cooperation and exchange between Chinese and foreign business circles along the “Belt and Road” countries with mutual respect, tolerance, cooperation, co-construction, co-enjoyment and sharing.
